"We totally enjoyed staying at the East Bay Inn. The room with its period architecture and furnishings was so much nicer than the sterile type "big chain hotel" look. It takes you back to another place in time. The Staff was so friendly and helpful. The wine cordials in the evening gave us a chance to talk with other guests about themselves and their experiences in Savannah. When we return to Savannah we will definitely come back to the East Bay Inn for another stay. " -- MT, 5/2/11

"We were very surprised with the size of the room and the decor. Both were beyond our expectations. The high ceilings, the brick wall, and the creaking floors added to the quaintness. We had a time finding the closet but had a good chuckle when we finally discovered it--very clever!! Juli did a wonderful job and was very friendly. She gave us some ideas regarding restaurants and directions to help us get there easily. She also, gave us some information about your "pet friendliness" so that when we return we can bring our "four footed child"."  -- LB, 5/2/11

"This was one of the nicest places I have stayed in a long time. The staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful when we had to ask directions or questions. The establishment was very nicely appointed and very clean everywhere. It's within walking distance to almost any place so we only used the car one day when we went to Tybee Island. "This was my second stay at the East Bay. The location is excellent and the room size for the money is great. But the best thing about the East Bay are the excellent employees who work there. Everyone is so gracious, friendly and welcoming. Sheila was great, we really enjoyed her. The other front desk ladies were also wonderful, unfortunately I do not remember their names. Even the maintenance gentleman was memorable for being just so friendly and pleasant. The East Bay is my favorite Savannah inn. Thanks for the great time." -- SH 7/7/11

"Our stay at The East Bay Inn was outstanding. Jennifer went out of her way to get us the room we wanted and she also assisted with tour information. The continental breakfast was outstanding and the wine and cheese was great. All the food served was fresh and well prepared. An added bonus was the restaurant "Skylers" down stairs. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. A severe weather front came through one evening during our stay. What we found was we had everything we needed in the Inn without venturing out into the bad weather." -- KS, 4/27/11
