Savannah stay

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

From the moment we arrived at EBI the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were in walking distance for all the historical sites and didn't have to drive anywhere. Our rooms were beautiful and we loved all the extras you provided. Thanks for a great weekend!

Amazing Stay!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Great location. Lovely hotel. Tremendous staff. The bar is nice and relaxing. Debi's restaurant is reasonable, food is very good and the staff so nice. When we were leaving my wife inadvertently left a sizable amount of cash in an envelope on the bed. Staff found it and frantically tracked us down to make sure we did not leave town without it so add great integrity to the list of staff qualities. We had a corner king suite on the 3rd floor, it was spectacular.

Great location, great staff, and great room

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Perfectly located for touring both the historic center and the riverside the hotel is in a beautiful historic building that offers very big rooms with incredibly high ceilings that give you the feeling you’re in a suite. The bed was very comfortable and the staff - every single person we dealt with, from the front desk, Willy the bellman, and the women with housekeeping - were without exception friendly, helpful and welcoming. Parking is included and very convenient.

Warm & Welcoming!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

East Bay Inn is warm, welcoming, and full of hospitality! My husband and I brought our sister/sister-in-law on a trip to Florida, Georgia, and NC for her 60th birthday. We stayed at the East Bay Inn for two nights because it is one of the historical inns of Savannah. The hotel is cute because of its history, but the team members/staff are incredibly warm and helpful. Everyone is cheerful and willing to help in any way they can. Our room had high ceilings (18 ft. high) and was furnished with antiques. There is a small refrigerator (about 3 feet high) which helped because we had a lot of food from earlier in the trip. The hotel provided flavored popcorn and bottles of water in the room that were complimentary, so that was a treat for us.

Since there were three of us, we had two queen sized beds. My husband and I have a king sized bed at home, so that is why it was a bit harder for us to sleep. Also, Bay Street is a busy street in the morning for cars and trucks, so be aware of that. There was noise from the street, but the location is central to the city's action. When we went to bed, there wasn't a lot of noise from restaurants or bars.

Savannah is a walking city, and East Bay Inn is located close to everything. It is about a block or so to the riverfront where there are cute stores and gift shops. It is close to the various squares and tons of restaurants. If my husband and I go back to Savannah, we would stay here again in a heartbeat

Charming historical hotel in great location

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

We loved the hotel. The room was quite spacious, clean and comfortable beds. The staff was attentive and helpful. The adjoining bar and restaurant downstairs was a plus, although we didn't get to go to the restaurant. Next time for sure!
